Please join us in celebrating the Beautiful Life and spirit of our truly loved wife, mommy and friend, Patricia Lee Helfant. Patricia lived her life with a unique fullness by always sharing her grace, happiness, opinion, kindness and energy. She will always live through us in our hearts and souls with love, laughter and light. Patricia a 4 year resident of Canyon Lake, Texas passed away on Friday, January 21, 2005 in Redondo Beach. Born in Middletown, CT Patricia was 62. She is survived by Husband, Eloi Sevigny, Rudy, Tyler and Isaah of Canyon Lake, TX; Daughters, Patricia (Jeff) Jones of Redondo Beach, Christina (Patrick) Moynihan of Rockford, IL and Billie Scelza of Redondo Beach; Step-Son, Joseph (Tamara) Sevigny of Old Lyme, CT; Step Daughter, Nicole (Mike) Sevigny of Old Lyme, CT; Brothers, Erwin (Nancy) Helfant of Clinton, CT and Larry (Frances) Helfant of Middletown, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NCA or P.S. I Love You Foundation. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 25th at 6PM with reception to follow both at Rice Mortuary in Torrance.

My heartfelt sympathy to our daughter, Patricia (Jeff) Jones, and her sisters, Billy and Chrissy and their families. Our families are now one…in memory of Patricia and for all our tomorrows to come. My warmest condolences, friendship, and kindred spirit to Peter, Patricia\’s loving husband. Thank you for being there for the girls…your strength has been amazing.   3. Some people have a profound effect on your life, one that you will never forget. My stepmother was this kind of woman, someone that made my life special in a million different ways. I miss her more than words can express, and feel blessed for having had the time that I did with her. I will smile often thinking of her and the funny things that she would say to me, the way that she loved my father and the family that was created when she became part of my life….I love you Pat

  4. I remember playing poker at our family reunions. Aunt Pat got sooo excited when I won once. You would have thought she had won by her celebrations for my success. I love Aunt Pat and remember her smiling face today and always. She was always a light to me. Wes

  7. I loved how she basically got everyone to play cards before the food was off the table during holidays. I remember how happy she was for me when I got married and how she welcomed my husband with open arms. After her and my Uncle Pete got married in her living room all those years ago, I was the first one to call her Aunt Pat. I remember her eyes tearing up and hugging me. I\’m sure her, Uncle Donald, Grandma and my Dad have one heck of a poker game going! We\’ll see you again sometime. Love you Aunt Pat and I will miss you! My thoughts, love and prayers go out to all those that she touched in her life.

Although our meeting with Patricia was brief and not under the best circumstances, she was always concerned and encouraging for my Mom.   18. My fondest memories are visits to My very Special Aunties house. It did not matter when I arrived it was always a very very specail time and I always felt loved in her presents. Auntie Patsy leaves three of the most wonderful daughters (and very special cousins) EVER! She will be missed but she lives on in her children.

  19. IF I WOULD OF KNOW THAT DEC. 18 WAS GOING TO BE LAST TIME I WOULD SEE PATTY. I WOULD OF GIVEN HER AN EXTRA HUG AND MADE HER STAYED A LITTLE LONGER SO WE COULD TALK AND PLAY CARDS LONGER.
