Patricia
Davis, Patricia Carolyn, a 66 year resident of the South Bay, passed away Friday, October 17th, 2008 in Torrance, California of Ovarian Cancer. Born in Inglewood California, Patty was 66 at the time of her death. Patty Davis was known by everyone who knew her as a warm and generous woman who was a fierce friend and supporter of many charitable causes. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Robert Davis of Rolling Hills and Sons; Richard Lee Davis of Torrance, Robert Randolph Davis of Los Angeles, and Darren Eugene Davis of Los Angeles; her Sisters' families Betty and George Byer of San Pedro, and Barbara and Norman Smith of Torrance; and Mother Dorothy Robinson; and several grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Joseph Robinson. The service will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, November 1st, 2008 at 2:00pm. A reception will immediately follow in The Rice Memorial Lighthouse Reception Room at 3:00pm. The Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Ovarian Cancer Society or the American Cancer Society in Patricia's name.
