  1. You were bigger than life, a giver of major proportions and a hoot and a half to be around! I am really annoyed with you for leaving and will work on trying to forgive you! I will miss you my friend! Love, Louise

  2. To the family of Patricia Helffenstein. There are no words to adequately express my sympathy to the family for your profound loss. She will truly be missed by us all.

  3. I haven’t seen Pat in years, but I will always remember her laughter and sense of humor. I will miss Pat dearly. I send my love and prayers to the Helffenstein family members.

  4. Thank you to all who have posted a message to us. We miss her so much, words cannot describe how much we love her and cherish all the time we had with her on this earth. Christmas was her favorite time of year and I have done my best to continue her spirit in our home. Our children miss and cry for her all the time. I tell them she is with our Lord now watching over us. She will continue to live on through my husband and our two beutiful children. Thank you mom we love and miss you very much!

  5. I talked with Pat about a year ago concerning out 50th highschool reunion coming up in June ’10. We laughed and carried on like we’d just seen eachother…not the 48 years separation. Many an afternoon, we crossed that cold and icy bridge over the Seneca River in Baldwinsville, NY. My heart hurts to know you’re gone. What a funny, crazy gal you were…my condolences to your family. Margaret Cobourn John

  6. I have just learned of Pat’s passing today from Margaret. I corresponded with her last Fall for the first time in 48 years. Our e-mail was full of laughter and that certainly captured Pat. How wonderful to leave a smile on everyone’s face when you are thought of. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Thanks for the smiles Pat. We all need more of them. Sarah

  7. I, too, reconnected with Pat last year via e-mails. They were always upbeat and fun to receive. I was SO looking forward to seeing her at our 50th class reunion in 2011!! Myheartfelt sympathy goes out to her family and friends. May our special memories of her always bring smiles!! Love, Bonnie

  8. Saddened by the news about your loss thru M. Coburn….. Pat was a school friend in Baldwinsville, New York and we recently, thru the school reunion site had e-mailed each other….and “caught up” …..was so looking forward to reuniting with her at the reunion!
