Patricia Ann Lambert

Patricia Ann Lambert March 17, 1925 – June 28, 2014 Beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Patty Lambert passed away peacefully on June 28, 2014 at the age of 89. She lived in Huntington Beach, CA at the time of her death. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Patty moved to Los Angeles, CA at a young age with her mother and four siblings. As a young woman, she married, worked as a secretary and eventually left the workforce to raise her three children. The family settled in the South Bay and eventually called Redondo Beach their home in the early 60"s. Patty lived in the South Bay until December 2010 when she moved to Huntington Beach to be closer to her son. Patty enjoyed a full life. After her children were raised, she had the opportunity to travel the world, making friends in foreign lands. She traveled with her family and then later with a group of women from The Aerospace Corporation where her sister worked. The group called themselves the 39ers. Many fond memories were made. Above all, Patty was a wonderful, beautiful person with a generous heart and spirit who touched all who crossed her path. She was comfortable with herself, had a great sense of humor and a joyous zest for life. She called everyone "honey" and was a good friend to many. Patty is survived by her son, Larry and his wife Patty, her daughter, Cherie, her daughter Terry and her husband Brian, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and life will not be the same without her.
