POPE, OVID ''KEITH'' a 70 year resident of Los Angeles County, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2004. He was born Dec. 4, 1933 in Utah and was in the telecommunication industry for over 30 years. Survivors include his devoted wife, Dixie Pope of Manhattan Beach, CA, daughter, Kelly Ching of Redondo Beach; son, Kurtis James Pope of Redondo Beach; daughter, Kristy Leigh Pope of Manhattan Beach and son, Ovid Kraig Pope of Los Angeles. Mr. Pope was preceded in death by his precious grandson, Steven Joseph Ching. Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at RICE MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5310 Torrance Blvd. Torrance, CA 90503. The Service will begin at 2:00 P.M., in the mortuary after the visitation, at the same location, followed by a reception in the RICE MORTUARY reception hall. Private cremation and inurnment.
