Mildred Tibbetts, born 1926, passed away peacefully in May 2014 with family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Tibbetts. Survived by her daughter Kathryn Taylor; granddaughters Deanna Taylor and Sarah (Brian) Franklin; grandson John (Amy) Taylor; brother Richard Dettmers; sister Marion Silver; nieces; nephews;, and cousins. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Sovereign Grace Bible Church (Emerald Ave and Pacific Coast Highway) in Redondo Beach. In lieu of flowers, consider a charity of your choice or church missions.

I had the honor to meet and know Grandma Mildred, She had a sharp mind. She knew me and my mom right away, saying “that is Amy’s mother and brother”. She will be missed and never forgotten. My condolences go out to Kathy and the family. may her memory be eternal. Joseph Soof ( Amy’s brother)
