DAVIDSON, MILDRED DUNCAN Born July 10, 1921 in Coleman County, Texas. Passed away on December 1, 2004, in Hermosa Beach, California. Mrs. Davidson was a long-time resident of Lubbock and member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lubbock. She moved to Hermosa Beach in 1991 after the death of her beloved husband of 44 years, Joe H. Davidson. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Davidson and son-in-law Robert Horner of Hermosa Beach, son Joe M. Davidson, daughter-in-law Mary Davidson and granddaughters Ashley Davidson and Cameron Davidson of San Diego, California, and many nieces and nephews. Her life was celebrated in a memorial service at St. Cross by the Sea Episcopalian Church in Hermosa Beach on December 5, 2004. Donations in her memory may be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (www.spcaLA.com) or San Diego Center for the Blind and Vision Impaired (www.sdcb.org).

  1. We were sadden at the death of Aunt Mird. I will alway remember how Uncle Joe and Aunt Mird helped me get through some tough time when the tornado hit Lubbock in 1970. They were always there when there was anything to be done and gave us the support we needed. Living across the street from where they lived in Lubbock they are in my thought every day. Remember you and Joe Mark will be in our prayers.

  2. This is your cousin Rita it has been a long time since we have seen each other. I want you to know I thought a lot of your Mother and Dad and when Connie told me about the death of Aunt Mird I was saddened. I know this is a hard time for you and Joe Mark but your Mother will always be remembered for her big heart and smile she bought.
