Yepiz, Mike Gomez, Beloved husband, father and grandfather and a life long resident of the South Bay, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2006. Born in Los Angeles, CA, Mike was 79 when he died. He is survived by Wife, Henrietta Yepiz of Torrance, CA, Son, David Yepiz of Laguna Niguel, CA, Son, Michael Yepiz of Huntington Beach, CA, Sister, Magdalene Ford of LA. Preceded in death by: Mother, Rafaela Yepiz and Father, Salvadore Yepiz. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Rice Mortuary on Monday, March 27, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:30 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be held at Nativity Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. with a reception following at Rice's Lighthouse Reception Room until 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.   3. I’ve known Mike since I was a baby. Mike and Henrietta lived down the street from my parents. My husband Wayne and I will truely miss Mike. He was a wonderful story teller and always made us laugh. I’m going to miss seeing him working out in the yard or whipping up some new dish on his shiney new BBQ. Love you Mike. Rest In Peace.
