  1. Mike is the last of the clan from Syracuse. I remember when Mike, Uncle Soph, Kennedy and Papajohn used to come to our house to watch the boxing matches on TV. The fun and joking of these young men playing cards, talking about girls and what good friends they were. These are wonderful memories. Oh how much these men loved California, their dream was to get here and they did. I loved Mike he always treated me as a big uncle. His family was Blessed to have him as a father. May his memory be eternal. Sylvia Pierson and family

  2. 1/13/2018 My Uncle Mike (may God bless his soul in Jesus name) is currently survived by his “twin brother” PAUL PARRIS (92) who is my Dad and presently residing in Syracuse NY who misses him dearly and so do I. Sylvia he still shares those fond memories with you and sends his regards. We send our sincere condolences to you Raymond Parris and Louis Parris and your family’s. Uncle Mike was a great man and example for us all and our greatest source of happiness comes from my last phone conversation with Uncle Mike where he said to me “God is in control of every thing and you are always welcome to my home in Heaven”. PS: Sylvia if you care to call Paul just email me at jamestparris@gmail.com and I will connect you with him.
