McCormick, Matthew E., A student at Loyola High School of Los Angeles and a Life Scout in B.S.A. Troop 762, El Segundo, CA. passed away June 24, 2004. Survived by father and mother, John and Deborah McCormick and brother, Sean McCormick, grandparents, Richard and Marcelline Desko and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Vigil service, Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. and Funeral Mass Friday, July 2, 2004 at 10:00 A.M., both at St. Anthony Church, El Segundo with committal in Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Matthew E. McCormick Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Loyola High School, 1901 Venice Blvd. L.A., CA 90006. McCormick Mortuary Redondo Beach, Directors.

  1. Deb, just thinking of you today. I remember the days at the park, watching the kids and simply playing hookey with you at the beach! Girls are good. Courtney cancer free. I pray to Matthew to watch over them both. I love and miss you. C

Rhys has a soccer photo of Matt surrounded by his team mates “The Termites” in 2001.
