  1. How privileged we were to have Sister Mary sing in our choir at St. James Church in Redondo Beach for so many years. Always a smile and a good word for everyone. When she was assigned to LCMH San Pedro, she’d often have this special grin, which meant she had something up her sleeve, and then she’d invite us to come down and sing at one of their religious services. Then, sometimes she’d give us just a few days notice that we were needed at the Torrance LCMH chapel, and off we’d go. We just loved her. A very special woman; she’ll certainly be missed by us all. God bless you, Sister. Love, Gail

  2. Dear Sisters, There is nothing little about the heart, the sharing, the kindness, and the smile of Sister Mary. I was Rehab Director at LCMPavilion from 1985-1998 and had the honor and priviledge of working with Sister Mary along with her other sisters – Frances, Nancy,Terrance etc. Whether it would be negotiating for new wheelchairs or celebrating at Holiday time at my home or being overwhelmed at your presence at my husband’s funeral, the warmth was always there. I pray that Sister Mary’s days proir to her ascent into heaven was painless and comfortable. Knowing the work of the Palliative program, I’m sure all her needs were met as well as yours. I will try to attend Tuesday’s visitation. G-D bless all of you and remember to norish your body as well as your soul.

  3. I wanted to let you know how much we loved Sr. Mary and Valued the Love she shared for both my Father, Miles and my Mother, Betty throughout their lives and how Sr. Mary took the time to visit my Mother during her last days. We had lots of good times at Little Company of Mary and Sr. Mary will be missed. I know she is in the Safe and Blessed hands of the Lord. May the Peace of the Lord be with your Family. Miles F. Gibbons Jr.

  4. To The Family of Sr Mary, I will miss her so much. I was one of her associates and she was a wonderful person! I will always remember her wonderful smile and grand sense of humor. I will miss having ice cream together at Baskin and Robbins.. Tina lestelle
