Mary Leepa, a near lifelong South Bay/Redondo Beach native California girl. Sadly Mary passed at the hospital after a routine procedure was performed.

Mary was born in Hawthorne, California but moved to Gerber, California with her grandparents and graduated Mercy High School in Red Bluff in 1967.

Mary moved back south to start her life. One of Mary’s first jobs was at Allstate Insurance – California where she became best friends with Kimmy Woolheater…Best Buds!  Well, Kimmy’s little brother is Kenny Leepa, since then, Mary’s husband of 48 years.

Mary loved her family more than anything and was as involved as she could possibly be. She loved her brothers the most in life!

Mary also managed 30 years with Northrop/Grumman and retired in 2009 with many Northrop friends.

Mary will be missed by everyone she touched in her life. She was always so sweet and kind and she made a difference in so many lives….Thank You Mary!

  1. candle 7Aunt Mary, You were always there for me to Listen and gave me never ending Love.
Thank you for so many wonderful memories. Listening to Olivia Newton John and Looking over the city of light will always be a precious memory for me. You made me feel light a big girl and important. You are forever with me. Say Hi, to my Mommy and Grandpa and Grandma. Give Aunt Georgia a big hug for me. Aunt Ursela, Uncle Bob, and Uncle Jack, watch out here she comes.

  2. candle 1I always loved our times growing up together. You always made me feel so special. I miss you and will always hold our times together close to my heart.

  3. candle 7Aunt Mary thanks for all the good times we had I will never forget when you would babysit and the fun we had and to this day whenever someone calls someone kiddo I think of you. I’m so glad my kids got to meet you and I will cherish the times we had. Give everyone a hug from me and tell them I miss them all and think about them all the time. Godspeed kiddo

  4. candle 4We’ve lost a friend who we will always remember especially on the 4th of July holiday. We’d watch the firework show on Kitty Wiskers at KHM, having a few adult beverages, laughing, and enjoying the fun company! We’ll miss those times and Mary’s happy smile, she was a kind soul.
