  3. Mary Schafer was my Aunt and I have a lot of special memories held in my heart. I will always remember she was my sponsor for my confirmation. When it was time for me to graduate from highschool she and Uncle Alfred showed their support and was their for me in my Mom’s place since she had passed away only a few months earlier before I graduated. We went square dancing together at Kate’s 8 that was a lot of fun. And in recent years when I worked for the airlines I worked nights so on Thursdays me, my dad, mary and alfred would all go down to the redondo beach peir and have coffee together. It was a nice tradition because Mary and I would talk while my dad and alfred kept conversation. She was well loved by all and she will be missed. May God bless each and everyone of the family, that he give you the strength, love and support you need during this time of sorrow. with all my love, Kathleen.
