The love from an Aunt is special. But the love from MY FOREVER FRIEND, AUNT GRANNY, my big sister, is forever PRICELESS!! Ask anyone who knows her, they’ll tell you. Many aren’t fortunate to get an aunt/sister/friend that loves tough and warm at the same time and so effortlessly . . . and lest not forget, forever stylish; no one can wear a FRESH flower better!
Just for a fleeting moment, take me back to simpler times, good memories of time spent around my Cali family and a world very different from the one that we know today. Rest Easy big sis! When I think of you, it will make me happy for all the memories we shared.

Condolences to my West Coast family. When folks talk about a “real one” I can’t even hear you unless you are talking about a woman that put family and community before everything else; and a total original who marched to the beat of her own drum!
