Ellingson, Mary Loucille, 74, of Torrance passed away after a long illness on August 31, 2002 with her family beside her. She was born in Billings, Montana on July 25, 1928. She resided in the South Bay for the past 50 years.
Mary is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roland, six children, Charles of Lawndale, CA, James and his wife Georgia of Torrance, CA, Susan Hansen of Mammoth Lakes, CA, Roberta and her husband Alan of Longmont, CO, Judith and her husband Jim of San Luis Obispo, CA, Tamara and her husband Curtis of Scottsdale, AZ, eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, four brothers; William (Tillie) Lambrecht, Clement (Esther) Lambrecht, Wallace (Alice) Lambrecht and Kenneth (Lois) Lambrecht. She was preceeded in death by her parents, two brothers, James and George Lambrecht, and a grandson.
Mary was employed by Kanuit-Grennan Tax Services for 25 years as a receptionist. She was very active with her children's activities, including PTA, sports and service organizations.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 4-8 p.m. at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5, 10 a.m. at the same location.
