Mary Eileen Rossiter

Mary Eileen Rossiter March 21, 1921 to July 2, 2013 Mary Eileen Rossiter was born on March 21, 1921 in Wellsville, Ohio. She succumbed to a fatal stroke at the age of 92 on July 2, 2013. Mary is survived by her husband of 72 years John (Jack) Rossiter. Mary and John moved to California, where John worked for the airlines, after World War II. She is also survived by her three sons, John (Cathy) of Yreka, CA; Paul (Sandy) of Torrance, CA; and Ron (Beth) of Cornville, AZ. After she raised her sons, Mary enjoyed a successful career as a Business Office Manager for both the Los Angeles and Mount Shasta school districts. Mary loved traveling, having taken many cruises, and she loved being with her family and friends. Mary will be missed by her 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Service will be held on Tuesday July 9, 2013 at 10:00 am (viewing from 9:00 am) at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA, with a reception immediately following.
