A special message from Martina “Grandma Tina” Sotelo
“Live everyday as if it was your last!”
Wife, Mother, Sister, Friend and Grandmother to all, Martina Sotelo’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her passing. Born June 6, 1927 in Guanaja, Honduras and passed away on December 28, 2022 in Compton, California at the age of 95, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Martina was a true island girl at heart that loved to dance, sing, laugh and enjoy the oceans mist as she embraced the view. A strong and faithful prayer warrior, and lover and believer of Jesus Christ. Grandma is now reunited with Grandpa,in the presence of our Lord and Savior, praising Him surrounded by all His glory and everlasting love. Her deep love for all people and children allowed her to quickly became a mother and grandmother to everyone and anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her. Her most prized possessions were her children, treasured grandchildren and great grandchildren, and all of her adopted children all around the world.
Her pleasant and sweet personality was contagious to everyone she met. Martina is survived by her son Selvin, daughter Lora, seven grandchildren Anastacia, Caleb, Sarah, Leah, Joshua, Joseph and Gabriel, nine great grandchildren Silas, Boaz, Asher, Poema, Daniel, Annie, Sarah, Jesse and Truly, two brothers, one sister and many nieces, nephews and many brothers and sisters in Christ.
