Martha McFarland Thom

Martha and her late husband Art lived in New Horizons for over 42 years. Martha had sold her condominium in September 2021 and moved close by to the assisted living facility at Clearwater at South Bay where she passed peacefully on December 22, 2022 just about a year and three months after leaving New Horizons.

Martha continued to visit weekly as much as possible to play cards with her friends at New Horizons which she enjoyed immensely. Martha was full of life and loved getting out and going every chance she could. While at Clearwater she made many friends and constantly encouraged them to get out and go on any excursions they could. She was very well-known there for greeting and making new residents feel welcomed and included in all activities offered.

Her remaining family of two sisters and two brothers and a niece remain in Scotland with one in Australia. She will be missed by so many that knew and loved her.
