Martha Else Davis Born July 24, 1931 in Lettgenbrunn, Germany. The daughter of Elizabetha nee Loef and Adolf Stolz. She married Charles E. Davis in Frankfurt, Germany. She came to the USA in 1952 and became a naturalized citizen on March 8, 1954. Martha is survived by her husband, Charles; daughter Patricia Davis; and daughter Barbranne Davis (Herrera); grandchildren Matthew Davis; Houston, Alana and Austin Herrera. Martha loved her family, animals, and traveling. A Lawndale resident since 1968, she also lived in Sacramento, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, France and Spain. One of her favorite places was to go to Las Vegas with her husband. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, doing arts and crafts, and cooking. Those who knew her were blessed to have her in their lives. She could always find something good or bring out the good in people. She spent her life loving children; no matter where she lived she always had gifts of clothing, toys and her time to make the neighborhood children feel special. She cooked and brought meals to the elderly, ill, or lonely. Despite her own health battles she always found a way to give of her love to others. If people received a bouquet of flowers for every good deed in their life, a pathway overflowing with flowers would surely guide the way for Martha, one of heaven's newest angels. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 2pm at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
