June 6, 1950 ~ November 23, 2017
Martha Kimberly Coronado was born in La Habana, Cuba on June 6, 1950 to Abelardo and Lucia Garcia. She left us to join our Heavenly Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 23, 2017. She is survived by her husband; Jesse Coronado, her daughters; Martha Withers, Zuleika Braden (William Braden), Betzy Greenberg, and her grandchildren; Joshua Braden, Samantha Withers, Sabrina Braden, Savannah Greenberg, and Sabella Greenberg. She is also survived by her sister Gladys Aguilar, and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha was a force of life, strength, love, and nature and will be forever missed.
She loved to dance, spend time with her family, cook delicious meals, sing, spoil her grandchildren and pets, and make mischief. Her time was spent on the telephone with her loved ones, playing on her Apple tablet, creating controversy on Facebook, and ordering too many things online. Martha was passionate about education and feverishly encouraged her loved ones to obtain their degrees. Her favorite TV shows were Caso Cerrado!, True Crime and mysteries, true-life medical programs, any shows involving animals, and her many novelas.
Martha’s love and compassion for animals will never be surpassed. She rescued a myriad of animals including cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, and once even a goat and a hawk! The Humane Society and ASPCA have lost a very strong advocate and supporter of animal rights.
Beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother (Lela), sister, aunt, and lover and defender of animals, may you rest in peace and in our Lord’s Holy embrace. We love you!
