Marsha
MARSHA BENSON She was born in Santa Monica, California on September 15, 1944, to the late Fred and Aletha Oakley. Marsha went to the Lord on October 16, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Fred Benson, and daughter Laura Benson, both of Palos Verdes Estates, California; her brother, Allen Oakley, of Bethany, Oklahoma; her nephew, Bryan Oakley of Torrance, California, plus several cousins and other relatives. Marsha was a longtime resident of Palos Verdes Estates since 1975. She worked for five years as a business analyst at TRW in Redondo Beach, California. Marsha also worked with her mother, Aletha, and brother, Fred, in the family dry cleaning business. She will be deeply missed by all. Visitation will be on Monday, October 24, between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the McCormick Mortuary at 1998 Pacific Coast Highway, Redondo Beach, CA 90277. Graveside service will be on Tuesday, October 25, at 11:00 a.m. at the Pacific Crest Cemetery at 2701 182nd Street, Redondo Beach, California, 90278.

I am not sure, but possibly at cousin Donnie’s funeral. I will always remember her beautiful smile and loving ways. May God bless you all and comfort you with many beautiful memories.   7. To Marsha’s Family, I’m deeply sorry for your loss. Dickie you are right, those sparking eyes & sweet smile, it’s Marsha. What a good friend you were to me in Freshman & Sophomore years in high school. We had a couple over nights & slumber parties, they were GREAT. You ALWAYS made me feel comfortable. You would joke around & keep everyone laughing. I’m sorry we lost track of one another after you transferred by to Leuzinger. Thank you for your friendship & memories.

  8. I went to H.S. with Marsha she was wonderful person and a good friend. We all will miss her very much. Condolences to her family.
