Marjorie
Our loving daughter, Marjorie Ann Steinhoff, a 47 year resident of Redondo Beach, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2007 in Laguna Hills. Born in Detroit, MI, Marjorie was 50 when she died, having moved from Redondo Beach to Laguna Woods in 2005. Marjorie attended First United Methodist Church of Redondo Beach with her parents until she could no longer participate in the services. Marjorie attended Special Education programs in Redondo Beach, Torrance and for a while in Palms, lastly, in Mission Viejo until she passed away. When Marjorie was young she loved music, traveling, roller skating swimming, the school dances, a Special Girl Scout Troup, walking on the beach and books. She loved the teachers and the classmates in her Special Ed Programs. Marjorie liked to do puzzles and watch TV, also enjoyed band and orchestra concerts and sang very well, though with few words, until later in her life when her health status changed. She enjoyed going to restaurants. Marjorie’s brown teddy bear was her constant companion. She is survived by Father, Harry Steinhoff of Torrance , Mother, Laura Johnson and Step Father Wayne Johnson of Laguna Woods, CA, Brother, Kenneth (Linda) Steinhoff of Laguna Beach, CA, Step Sister, Cynthia Harvey, of Lewisville, Texas. Guestbook

  1. A belated prayer we send to the whole family. I recall Marjorie’s worshipping with us at Redondo Methodist, and knowing that she “belonged,” in a very, very special and real way. Our church family was more complete BECAUSE of her. We look forward to the time when we will all worship and rejoice together at God’s Throne in Glory!!

  2. Lots of memories of our times together with the girls have surfaced. I will see you on Sunday to help celebrate Marjorie. God bless all of your family

  3. Our Condolences on the loss of Marjorie. I’m sure you will miss her much. Jeanie and I have been in Montana for 20 years. I heard the sad news via an e-mail. We are thinking of you. Our best, Stew and Jeanie
