Our loving daughter, Marjorie Ann Steinhoff, a 47 year resident of Redondo Beach, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2007 in Laguna Hills. Born in Detroit, MI, Marjorie was 50 when she died, having moved from Redondo Beach to Laguna Woods in 2005. Marjorie attended First United Methodist Church of Redondo Beach with her parents until she could no longer participate in the services.
Marjorie attended Special Education programs in Redondo Beach, Torrance and for a while in Palms, lastly, in Mission Viejo until she passed away.
When Marjorie was young she loved music, traveling, roller skating swimming, the school dances, a Special Girl Scout Troup, walking on the beach and books. She loved the teachers and the classmates in her Special Ed Programs.
Marjorie liked to do puzzles and watch TV, also enjoyed band and orchestra concerts and sang very well, though with few words, until later in her life when her health status changed. She enjoyed going to restaurants. Marjorie’s brown teddy bear was her constant companion.
