Brady, Marion Elizabeth, a 53 year resident of Westchester, passed away on July 28, 2004, in West Los Angeles. Born in Wisconsin, Marion was 81 when she died. Marion proudly served her country during WWII as a Navy WAVE. After raising her children, she spent her career at Loyola Marymount University where she worked her way out of the steno pool and retired as Assistant Registrar 20 years later. In retirement she enjoyed family visits, sewing, dinners out and competitive shopping. She was a regular volunteer at St. Margaret's Center. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Brady Justice and son Mark Andrew Brady, brothers, Bill and Bob Davies, sisters Margaret Blackman and Barbara Pescheck and 2 grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be Friday, August 6, 2004, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Chapel in Loyola Marymount University at 7900 Loyola Blvd., Los Angeles. Committal will follow at Los Angeles National Cemetery.
Thanks for being such a thoughtful birthday buddy, Marion. You always remembered our special days. I always was welcome in your home and felt I was a second daughter. Your gifts decorate my home and heart. Love, Cheryl
