  1. So sad to hear this. Mario always seemed happy and greeted me warmly whenever I saw him in Marine Village. My sympathy to the family. I live in Nevada now or I would come to the service. God Bless.

  2. My condolences to the family. I’ll always be grateful, Mario did give me my first paying job. Thankful for the experience and for you guys adopting us when we had no family on this side. Love you all.

  3. My sincerest condolences to Ashley and the family. It was a very beautiful and insightful tribute to the life that he lived. You can tell from the photos that Mr. Arps was quite a charismatic, fun loving person who enjoyed life. It is my prayer that you are comforted by the memories and that the love of family will surround and strengthen you in the days ahead. For to continue to live in the hearts of those left behind is not to die. With warm thoughts, prayers and love.

  4. The hardest part wasn’t losing your father but it’s learning to living without him. For death leaves a heartache no one can heal & love leaves a memory no one can steal. He will always be in your heart. Stay strong.
    Extending Deep & Heartfelt Sympathy

  5. When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that will watch over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. May you treasure the memories and always carry him in your heart. We extend our most sincere condolences to you and your family.

  6. Cheryl Arps and family: With deepest sympathy as you all remember Mario. Know that God loves you. Remember, Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase ;MLK

  7. Cherrel and Family:

Please know that you are not alone for God will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Hold to his precious memories to bring you through.

    Balleria Douglas & Family

  8. Cherrel,
May the Lord bless and comfort you and your family during your time of grief and Mario’s transition. Please accept my most sincere condolences.

  9. Oh my God. I just received the news that you die. I have been calling you for days. When I didn’t get through to you. I Google your business to see if you had changed the business number. The video above pop up and broke my heart. What a great man. I remember as a kid you would come to the house to pick up premium payments. You would always bring me coloring books illustrating the importance of having insurance. You will be truly missed. Gone to soon. Your legacy will live forever. May you rest in peace. My condolences to your family and friends.

  10. You will be missed I had a bad feeling in my heart . I tried calling and when I got no response I knew you were no longer on this earth . Last week me and my boyfriend moved out of your old apt in Hawthorne Ca I had been telling my boyfriend for some months that I felt you had pass on he thought I was crazy just like when I felt your cousin gearld past away .
When I walk out of your old apt I said good bye to you not knowing in reality that you were no longer here but I felt Your presence in the apt the last couple of nights I stayed by myself . I remembered working for you and your big desk in the front room I just want to Thankyou for letting me work with you even though I knew nothing about insurance policy’s but working with you kept food on my kids table and I will never forget that . God bless you Mario you were a Cool Boss !!

  11. Mario was a good friend. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. The joy of true friendship in spirit and in truth is a magnificent spiritual journey.

    In Christ,
    Terry Singleton
