Marie L. Lang

Marie L. Lang was born on February 4, 1938 in Winnfield, Louisiana. She is one of two children born to Mable (Tuggle) Howard and Lee Andrew Lang. After high school, she moved to California to pursue a different life in the Golden State. Through her union with Charley H. Myers, II, she had three daughters, Melony, Dianna and Marlenia. With a love for children and their education, her work outside of being a wonderful mother to her daughters, included working for Los Angeles Unified School District as a teacher’s aide and for over 25 years in early childhood education as a preschool teacher and infant center director in West Los Angeles.

She is survived by her three daughters, brother Lee Esther, niece, nephew, extended family, friends and loved ones.
