  1. To the family of Frankie McGee: I am deeply saddened by the sudden loss of my dear colleague. She was a true gem and a real trooper. Frankie believed in her students and she displayed this on a daily basis. She taught my nephew English in 1998 and 1999. He thought he was going to skate by and she would let him do just that, however, Frankie stopped him in his tracks and gave him that fail and made sure he made up the course and learned how to write perfect essays. Frankie was a good friend, for we collaborated on projects together. I would ask her to correct my papers, her opinion on certain subjects as well as her professional expertise on the English subject. I will miss her voice, her presence and her way of telling it like it is. Do remember that the McAlpine family share your memories as well as your loss. Mary McAlpine and Family
