She had a very successful career as a bookkeeper/accountant, and then along with her husband Don as owners of a General Contracting firm in Gardena. Their clients ranged from the West Coast to the East Coast and on to Europe. Upon retiring in 1988 she devoted her energies to community service in the South Bay area. 1. Marie: Thank you for being a member of the Lomita-Torrance Airport Rotary. I enjoyed our friendly bantering. Your wonderful sense of humor kept our game going for a long time. Your Rotary Viles of Life program contributed thousands of plastic files throughout the South Bay, these files consisted of vital personal medical information that could be used during an emergency. These viles will continue service for decades to come. You are in a better place now. Thank you for your friendship God be with you. Bob Klechner

  2. My memories of this beautiful lady go back to the early 1960’s. Marie was one of the rare human beings who loved without judgment, who allowed those around her to remove their public mask and be who they were. My heart aches for her loved ones.

  3. Vince & Teri — What an amazing, dedicated and giving person your Mom has been throughout her lifetime. The love you both showed for her in your daily lives is a testament to what she has passed on. Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family as we know what a big loss this is for you; however, the love you have for your Mom will never perish and we hope this brings you peace and comfort in time.
