  1. Jean was my wonderful sister. Although she has lived away from her roots in New Concord, she has always been in close touch. What fond memories I have growing up with Jean as my older sister–she was such a popular gal. The fist homecoming queen at New Concord High School, 1946 graduate of New Concord High School, drum majorette at New Concord High School and also at Muskingum College. Jean had a way of being such a good friend to so many people. We will miss her so much but know she is with the love of her life, Jerry, and her neice Kathy and her nephew (our son) David. Steve and Debbie, you had a wonderful mom. With love from Bernie (sister) and Wendell Litt

  2. This is my second entry. Jean would give her memorable giggle to this one. I didn’t spell niece correctly in my first entry, so had to type a second entry to correct my mistake! Also, know she is joining our loving parents, Ray and Hallie Finley

  3. May you know that you are all in our prayers. We have had some very wonderful memories with Aunt Jean, ones that we will cherish for a life time. Love Pam and Phil Allen

  4. May God be with all of you in your time of sorrow, may God grant you peace in knowing where Aunt Jean is. Have alot of wonderful memories with Aunt was when we took a trip to Hawaii and our layover was right next door and we were able to have time together it was so amazing to see our son with Aunt Jean. I am so thankful for the many memories she blessed us with..We maybe far apart but we are and will always be here for you Steve and Debbie and family we love you! Natalee Rick and Caleb

  5. We will miss Jean so much. She and Jerry always brightened our day when they would visit our office. We’re so thankful for the wonderful memories they’ve given us. Their kind and loving family is a great reflection of who they were. Jean, I will miss your contagious giggle! Love, Kathryn

  6. Hello everyone, I’m writing to say thank you for all your kind words about my grandma. Words cant express how much i miss her, need her, want her…but knowing that she was loved by so others brings comfort to my soul. My grandma was the best person in the world to me, she did no wrong in my eyes. I will miss her so much, but i do understand she is in a better place now with my grandpa. Thanks to all the people that wrote in and signed the quest book, its nice to hear stories about her 🙂 Love, Your only granddaughter, Michelle Yniguez

  7. This picture of Aunt Jean is wonderful — always smiling, always happy, always full of life and always, ALWAYS a kind soul!!!! Because of the miles between us, we didn’t get to see each other very much. But despite these miles, I have some very fond memories of the California relatives! Steve and Debbie, you are in my prayers. May God give you comfort and may your memories give you strength.

  8. Dear Green family: I know how hard it has been for you lately .I too was saddened by the passing of my friend Jean .She was very special to me ,and I will always remember her fondly . I wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.She was the most charming and warmest person I have ever known. I will never forget her .My family, Yvette Roger and Jerry joins me in sending you all our sincere sympathy. She will surely be missed by everyone. May her soul rest in peace and may God bless you all. Fondly Lillian Soucy & family

  9. Steve and Debbie, I was so saddened to hear about your Mom. I know she will be greatly missed by all. Take comfort in knowing that she is in a much better resting place. Mom would always keep me updated on what was going on in Hawthorne with everyone. I did get to see your Mom at Baxter Bailey’s birthday party, she had not changed a bit, she was still the sweet and kind lady I remember growing up in our neighborhood where so many families were close. She always had a smile!! My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family.
