Margaret
Harding, Margaret Mary Born October 15, 1919, she passed away December 4, 2003 at Little Company of Mary Hospital. The daughter of Irish immigrants Margaret Mary Quinn and Thomas Burke, Margaret was born in Nitro, West Virginia where her father was stationed with the Army. The family eventually settled in New York City where Margaret attended school. She married Everett Harding, Jr. in 1947. The couple resided in Long Island where their son Everett Harding III was born. In 1956 Margaret and family moved to Downey, California where she studied art at the local college and privately. She also participated in volunteer work, helping with Head Start. Thirty-eight years ago they moved to the South Bay area, residing in Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and finally in Torrance. For the past several years Margaret was a member of Pep Pioneers, pulmonary rehab group of Little Company of Mary Hospital. Margaret was preceded in death first by her son Everett Harding III, then by her husband Everett Harding Jr. She is survived by her sister Nancy Mahar of Los Angeles. Memorial services will be observed on Wednesday afternoon, December 10, 2003 in the club house at Skyline Mobile Home Park, 2550 Pacific Coast Hwy., Torrance, CA.
