Madonna (Donna) Bynon Died January 16, 2013 in Palos Verdes Estates, California. Donna was born February 7, 1923 in Waukon, Iowa to James and Agnes (Bolton) Finnegan. She was the eldest of eight children. Donna married Gilbert Evans Bynon in Rock Springs, Wyoming on October 27, 1946, where they resided before moving to Torrance, California in 1957. Survivors include her husband Gilbert, daughter Patricia Mcilraith (Bill McKaig); son Larry (Sheri) of Torrance and daughter-in-law Betty Bynon of Ionia, Iowa. Donna is blessed with seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Donna leaves three sisters, a brother, two sister-in-laws and a brother-in-law, all of Iowa. She is preceded in death by her son, David, two brothers and a sister. A Memorial service will be held 11 am, Sunday January 27 at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance 90503. Reception to follow. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Church Cemetery, Ionia, Iowa.

  2. Oh the memories I have of this wonderful woman and her beautiful family! Ev, Patti and Larry, I will never forget the joy she brought to our neighborhood! I am so sorry for your loss. What a blessing she was to all that had the honor of spending time with her. Heaven recieved a beautiful angel when Donna left this earth. My prayers are with you all.

  3. My condolences to the Bynon Family. May you all find comfort during this painful time. To loose a loved one brings us great sorrow to our hearts. Please know that God cares and he promises to resurrect our dear loved ones sleeping in death John 5:28,29- those in their memorial tombs will hear the voice of his son Jesus and come out; Acts 24:15- there is going to be a resurrection of both righteous and unrighteous. They will be resurrected back to life on a paradise earth where death will be no more. Revelation 21:4- death will be no more; Isaiah 25:8-Jehovah God will swallow up death forever. Please find these scriptures comforting and draw close to God and he will draw close to you. James 4:8.
