Lynne Marie Monson 1962 - 2009 Lynne was born in Hunstatanton, England on August 11, 1962 to John and Molly Erskine. Lynne passed away on December 9, 2009 of a heart attack. She was a resident of Hawthorne. She attended local schools and graduated from Leuzinger High School. Lynne was employed at Hughes Aircraft and various school transportation companies. Lynne was a driver for the Gardena Municipal Bus Lines for 13 years. Lynne was a very warm, caring and likeable person. She is survived by her son, John, parents, John and Molly Erskine, grandmother Lillian Mullaney, Aunts, Drea Holland and Marilyn (Bill) Boyle, Uncles, Terry (Gerri) Erskine, Mark (Le Ann) Mullaney, Brian (Donna) Mullaney, Robert (Winnie) Peacock and James (Olive) Peacock, numerous nieces, nephews and long time friend, Kenneth. The memorial service will be at McMillan & McCormick Mortuary, 1016 W. 164th St. in Gardena at 1pm on Thursday, December 17th, followed by a luncheon at the Gardena Elks Lodge 1735 W. 162nd St. in Gardena.

  1. I know many Gardena Municipal Buslines drivers, although I talk to alot of them, I don’t know all of them by names. If I knew her or talked to her, or even if I did not may she rest in peace.   2. LYNN WAS A ONE OF A KINDPERSON U COULD ALWAYS READ HER. SHE ALWAYS BROUGHT ME THOSE FOX GLAZIER MINTS THAT I LOVED SO MUCH AND SEEM TO KNOW WHEN I WAS OUT. MAN I MISS HER SO MUCH H WE TALK ABOUT A LOT OF THINGS MAINLY HER FAMILY. JOHN I DONT HAVE TOTELL U HOW MUCH SHE LOVED U. FINISHED THE JOB THAT SHE WAS DOING WITH UR FAMILY THAT WOULD MAKE HER REST PEACEFULLYY KNOWING THAT U WOULD CARRY OUT HER WISHES.   3. Lynn you will be truely missed by many. To john her mother and father we love you. I want you to know that you mother, your daughter love you very much. All she talk about was her family. Just know this that will put no more on you than you can bare. God bless you all.

  4. My Condolences to the Family. John I saw you the night of the Candle Lighting Ceremony held Dec. 10 at 8pm. Your mother was a loving, kind woman. I had just seen her 1 wk prior to her death. As I stood next to you that night. I remembered how how often she talked about you. You were & will always be loved by her. I will always remember Lynne to be a giving woman & Friend. I had been a passenger on Gardena Bus Line for maybe 9yrs. +. She watched my kids grow up & myself. I will miss her dearly & She will always be in our Hearts.. Sincerely Adrian Denise Smith
