Luis R. Tortola son of Francisco and Piedad Tortola, went home to the Lord on the early hours of Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the age of 69. He was peacefully at home and surrounded by loved ones. Loving husband to Blanca R. Saenz for 49 years, father of 8 and grandfather of 13. Born and raised in Guatemala, he immigrated to this country in the early eighties and quickly became an exemplary patriot citizen and man of faith through hard work and devotion. He brought happiness and laughter to many with a humorous personality and radiant smile. He was loved dearly and will be missed tremendously. A peaceful viewing will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503 at 6:00pm with a short reception to follow.

    your hand and never let you go. He stood by your side and walk with you into his kingdom. The angels rejoiced in heaven as you walked through the doors of heaven. We will truly miss your presence here but we all know that your in a better place enjoying the grace of our Lord. I will long for you and know that someday we’ll meet again and dance to the angels songs and worship together to our Lord.
