Lucille
Lucille Catherine Martz, a 50 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Torrance. Born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, Lucille was 86 when she died. She was a member of Rolling Hills Covenant Church in Rolling Hills Estates. Lucille went to college for two years. She worked in a library prior to having children. Her hobbies included writing, reading, and listening to classical music. Lucille is survived by her children, Beckee and Rick of Redondo Beach, CA; Jerry and Paula of Flint, MI; Rhonda of Corona, CA; Brian and Vickie of Covina, CA; Bruce and Tammy of Corona, CA; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Sally Litton, and her husband Richard. They were married for 55 years. A Memorial Service will be held at Olive Branch Community Church in Corona, CA on Sunday December 19, 2010 at 2pm. A reception will follow. Lucille will be laid to rest next to her husband, Richard, at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to M.A.D.D., 18726 S. Merge onto I-15 (exit #51) towards San Diego. Get off on Ontario Avenue (exit #93). Turn left onto E. Ontario Avenue. Turn right at Rudell Road.
