During the day I have to be strong

I try so hard to show that nothing is wrong.

But, at night my tears will flow,

it was just so sudden you had to go.

Just like my brother you go with the flow

knowing you went to be by his side.

I know now there is nothing to hide,

For together you both are side by side.

People keep asking if I’m OK,

the answer is no but its yes I say.

I’m trying to move on,

but it’s just not fair to know you both are not there.

I know one day soon I will be there

but, in the mean time please take care.

I do not have any hate in my heart,

but, I was not ready for a new start.

I will miss you and hold you both close to my heart,

for I know your forgiveness was meant from the start.

It’s hard when some people can’t forgive from their heart,

to know that their love was much more from the start.

I will miss you Dad hold my brother close until we get there.
