  1. Michael, Like a song that remains in the heart when the music is playing no more, Like a fragrance that stays in the air where a flower has blossomed before, Like a star that continues to glow long after the breaking of dawn, The ones we have loved remain with us still, and the beautiful memories go on. Lola is a beautiful person. She embraced life. Her spirit touches all of us who were fortunate to love her.

  2. Dear Ms. Joane Boyd and family, I am so sorry to learn about Lola’s passing away. I received the Mount Saint Mary’s booklet and saw Lola’s name and when I looked at the heading, I was struck by sadness. I am so deeply sorry. I wish we kept in touch. I still bring her name up; she was my soul sister in college. I always had only the best memories of her. Lola was an amazing roomate. Once again I am so sorry. Love, Dorothy
