Linda Mary Lane, longtime resident of Torrance, CA, returned to the Lord May 28, 2013 at the age of 70. Linda was born April 9, 1943 in Fort Lewis, Washington, to Gilbert Lane and Kathryn Temple. She graduated from San Francisco State. Linda retired from a very successful career at Southern California Edison where she was a home economist and computer analyst for more than 30 years. Linda was passionate about animals, especially horses, and spent many years of her life owning and riding horses throughout the hills of Rancho Palos Verdes. Linda loved the Lord and inspired her family through her commitment to church and God. She was committed to the importance of learning and encouraged many to continue their pursuit of higher education. Survived by husband, David Allan Coe; stepdaughter Michelle DeMott and husband Brian DeMott; grandchildren Jared and Jordy DeMott; sister-in-law Phyllis Coe; niece Hillary Coe; nephew Whitney Coe; and cousins and dear friends. Predeceased by parents; brother Rick Lane; and beloved horse, Bo. Services Wednesday, June 5 at 10:30 AM at Peninsula Community Church in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
