BLOODGOOD II, LEON EUGENE, of Torrance , passed on Friday, September 27, 2002 . He was born August 29, 1916 in Sacramento, CA and was a practicing attorney up until the time of his passing. Gene served his country in WWII as a United States Naval pilot and was a charter member of The So. Bay Bar Association since 1956 and had his own column in their newsletter entitled ''Briefs by Bloodgood''. He has also been a member of the California State Bar Association. Survivors include his beloved Wife, Kathryn Bloodgood of Torrance, CA, Daughter, Candace (Mrs. Frank) Bartsch of Huntington Beach, CA, Daughter, Georgene (Mrs. Maury) Smith of Pasadena, CA, Sister, Alexa Brown of Riverside, CA, Sister, Barbara Lyons of Riverside, CA, Grandson, Nicholas Bartsch of Huntington Beach, CA, Grandson, Paul Bartsch of Huntington Beach, CA, Granddaughter, Elizabeth (Mrs. Kyle) Miller of South Pasadena, CA, and Grandson, Andrew Smith of Pasadena, CA. Memorial services will be held at WHITE & DAY COLONIAL CHAPEL, 901 W. Torrance Blvd. (at Prospect Avenue), Redondo Beach, CA, 90277 on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002 at 11:000 A. M. Private cremation with inurnment at Riverside National Cemetery.
