  1. Dear Leo: It has been such a pleasure knowing you, I don\’t know where to begin? I thank you for the abundant kindness and generosity that you always showed me. I also thank you for sharing your cheerful nature and your marvelous sense of humor. As I got to know you it soon became clear to me that you were a highly principled and honorable man. It was also clear that you were deeply committed to fulfilling your obligations to your family; your friends and neighbors, and your country–which you so dearly loved. That “big heart” of yours and your “easy-going” personality are why so many people were drawn to you, and why you enjoyed such loyal and lasting friendships…You certainly have mine, and I will always consider it a privilege to have received yours. The only regret that I have from knowing you is that I didn\’t have a chance to know you longer. Farewell good friend, you will be dearly missed. Your friend always, Ted O\’Neill
