Leo Patrick ''Pat'' Cahill, 60, of Torrance, passed away Sunday December 12,2004 surrounded by his family. Pat was born October 15, 1944, in Leavenworth, Kansas to John and Leona Cahill. Pat married his sweetheart, Zona Williams on January 30, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had one daughter, Shannon. Pat attended area schools and graduated from Gardena High School in 1963. He worked in manufacturing and technology in the oil industry for over 30 years. During his career, Pat worked in many different positions. He retired as the plant manger.
Pat enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He treasured his almost nightly chats with his sister Rose. He shared a special bond with his little angel Cassidy.
Pat is survived by his wife, daughter, granddaughter Cassidy, brother John (Yvonne), sisters Edna (Jim) Valandingham, Rose Davis, Barbara (Dan) Glosson, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday December 16, 2004 at the White and Day Mortuary, Torrance Boulevard and Prospect, Redondo Beach. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4 pm to 8 pm and one hour before services. Internment will take place in the Pacific Crest Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers donations may be made on Pat's behalf to your favorite children's charity.
