Williams, Lela Mae, a 10-year resident of Huntington Beach, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in Huntington Beach. Born in Electra, TX, Lela was 89 when she died. A lifetime bowling enthusiast, Lela also loved to knit and crochet, making scores of gifts for her family and friends. Although she left Texas at 13, she never lost her southern charm and sense of humor, making her a welcome guest at any gathering. Lela was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Paul Williams; her daughter, Linda Yarborough; and her granddaughter, Kelley McCain. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Gurrola; her sons, Michael Bahner, Chris Bahner, and Daniel Bahner; seven grandchildren, Cara Peck, Jon Bahner, Chris Bahner, Thomas Bahner, Scott McCain, Marie Bahner, and Dylan Bahner; and nine great-grandchildren, Ava Peck, Mattea Peck, Nathan Bahner, Noah Bahner, Aliah Bahner, Madeline Bahner, Mallory Bahner, Destiny Bahner, and Daniel McCain. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 4th at 3:00 PM at White & Day's Colonial Chapel, 901 Torrance Blvd. in Redondo Beach. Private graveside services will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
