Laura Jean Hoyt

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways. Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

  1. Our sincere condolences to Jean’s California family. Jean was a very special person and although we weren’t able to see her a lot she was loved very much by the Morrison family.

  3. My memory of my Aunt Jean is a wonderful person who was always happy with a smile on her face. She, like my father (her brother), was always ready to tell a story.

  4. My thoughts are with Aunt Jean’s family and friends. I have several memories of her however the one thing that sticks out is a blanket that she made me with the j knitted in the corner.

  5. During business trips to the west coast, I would stop in and visit with Aunt Jean. She always had a smile and many stories of the Morrison family growing up in Iowa. She told about doing their homework on the kitchen table porcelan surface and copying it to paper when completed. We will remember her fondly and will miss her.
