Sadly, Lalo David Sausedo passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, with his family by his side.
Lalo was born on September 7, 1962. He grew up in Hermosa Beach and enjoyed playing Little League baseball. He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School and went on to graduate from Mira Costa High School where he wrestled and played football. His biggest love was for his family. He is survived by his two sisters, Anita Drennen (Jim) and Vicky DeCuir (Gil). He leaves two nephews, Andrew Drennen and Matthew DeCuir as well as his niece Lindsay Drennen. One of his new favorite things to do was to visit his grand-niece, Lola Drennen.
Lalo worked as a truck driver for over 20 years. He enjoyed being on the road and traveling the country. He was most recently employed by CEVA Logistics in Torrance. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in Redondo Beach where he spent a number of years cooking for members.
Lalo was a loving brother and uncle. He was a loyal and fierce friend whose big smile and warm heart will be missed by us all.
A memorial service will be held at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, on Friday, September 23rd at 11:00 am with a reception immediately following. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Cedars Sinai Hospital @ http://cedars-sinai.org/giving/ways-to-give/tributes-memorials.html.
