  10. To The Zelik Family, It was with a sad heart that we heard the news of Kevin’s passing. We first met Kevin when he and our daughter Kristen were in pre-k together at Anza Elementary. I think Kevin was her best friend that school year. We have many happy memories of the times they spent together at our house or yours. Kevin was such a sweet, caring boy and he made Kristen’s first year at school a happy one. They then lost touch an reconnected briefly when they met in 6th grade at a Co-Rec Dance. Kristen called us to break the news and wanted to send her condolences also. Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Susie, Bill, Kristen, and Matt Cochrane

  11. Kevin was my student at West High School and I want his family to know how well we remember him there. I have so many memories of him in Spanish Class . I remember how proud he was of achieving his Eagle Scout. My prayers go to your family. Elizabeth Szucs

  12. Joe and Linda: we were shocked to hear of your loss. We extend our deepest sympathies. Kevin, as well as you two, will be in our prayers.

  13. Dear Joe and Linda and the Zelik family, I don’t know that we have ever met but I am one of your many Scherer cousins on the East coast. My dad, Ray, was Dee Zelik’s first cousin. I was happy to see Dee and Ed again at the family reunion in June. I am so very sorry that Kevin had to leave you so soon and that you have to bear this enormous loss. I’ll be praying for him as well as you and your family.

  14. Dear Linda, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. During my visits to your office we often spoke about our families. I remember you speaking about your son and daughter. During these conversations I could see that you and your husband were very loving and supportive parents. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your loved ones. May God bless you and help you thru this difficult time.
