He read Greek, Latin and Hebrew and held an extensive book collection on the Bible. He was a member of several Church of Christ organizations in Oakland County. He was Bloomfield Hills' Forest Lake Country Club's (FLCC) 1982 Men's Golf Champion. He was an amateur photographer and thespian starring and performing in plays and musicals in the West Bloomfield and Bloomfield Hills area. He had a big personality, a big heart, a sharp mind and a keen wit bringing joy and chuckles to his family and friends.
