Kaylie Kristin Russell

kaylie russell
Kaylie "KK" Russell June 15th, 2005 - June 19th, 2014 Kaylie "KK" Russell was a beautiful, spunky, intelligent and compassionate 9 year old who's life has left an everlasting footprint on the hearts of those around her. Wednesday, June 19th 2014, after her heroic battle with cancer, Kaylie was granted her well-earned, oversized Angel wings. For most, Kaylie's life would seem too short; but those who were honored enough to have met her understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Kaylie was known for her bold personality, leadership and most of all her selflessness. Through her stubborn and determined ways she always seemed to get what she wanted! Kaylie loved and had a great talent for arts and crafts. Whether she was laughing, singing or dancing, she most enjoyed every minute she spent with her sissy. The unbreakable and close bond she shared with her immediate family can never be explained in mere words. Her incredible strength, courage and ability to overcome inconceivable odds with a smile on her face rendered the average person speechless. This is why Kaylie Russell is an inspiration and the type of person we should all strive to be. With Kaylie's passing we remind others that her life was a gift to us, and is one to be celebrated. There is no way to explain how or why someone so young and so full of promise is taken from us so soon. But please, celebrate her in your memories and live as she did…..to the fullest! Kaylie is survived by her mother, Courtney Russell; sister, Dakota Russell; father, Eric Russell; grandmother, Kathy Taggart; uncle, Shane Sossman; auntie, Amy McAndrews, Auntie Kimberly Klett; as well as many family and friends.
