  1. Walt and Kathy were just not my friends’ parents. They were my friends. I played tennis with them. They taught me how to water ski and introduced me to the “Colorado River Life” of which I have the fondest of memories. They taught me how to play peanuckle. My most memorable moment with Kathy (I forget the logistics why), she and I drove alone in Gary’s truck hauling the ski boat to Bass Lake. We had a wonderful grand time and think of that trip often to this day and all the special times I spent with Kathy. My heart felt condolences go out to all family and friends.

  2. My Dear Friends the Porter Family, Genesis 1:28 Further God blessed them and God said to them: Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, to my Porter family friends YOU all have had the best parental guidance I have ever come across. God has blessed your family in many ways. I know YOU have suffered many pains as well. I am happy your beautiful parents Bud and Kathy are now united in everlasting life. TNT aka Thomas Teora

  4. I’m very sorry to hear Kathy has passed away. I knew Kathy and Ken since the 1970s at Live Oak Park, where I learned to play tennis. What great people! We’ll all miss them a great deal. My best wishes to all of you. Bob Fleming
