Karen
Karen Ruth Sulser of Whittier, a southern California resident for 60 years, entered into eternity on Monday, January 9, 2006. Born in Long Beach, CA. on April 27, 1945 Karen was a member of Grace Brethren Church of Bellflower. She was a past President of the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, member of PEO sisterhood chapter JM, and two time winner of the President's Club with Bank of the West. She enjoyed toll painting, collecting Civil War era and Victorian memorabilia, and vacationing in Hawaii and New Orleans. She will be remembered for her enthusiastic involvement with volunteer work. She is survived by husband Steven Sulser of Whittier, CA, parents Donald and Ruth Kivrizis of Bellflower CA, daughter and son-in-law Corby and Blayne Wagner and four grandchildren; Ashley, BJ, Dakota, and Autumn and numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier on Friday, January 13, 2006 from 6:00 PM. until 8:30 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Rose Hills Memorial Park at 9:00 AM. The Celebration of Life service will follow at Grace Brethren Church of Bellflower at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being accepted by the American Cancer Society in Karen Sulser's name. Please call 1-800-227-2345.   2. I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Karen, but I am good friends with her daughter Corby. Karen must have been a wonderful person because her daughter is incredibly special. I know that Karen will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family.
