  1. Karen will always hold a special place in my heart. I will always remember her kindness and how she never gave up. I loved teaching her children. They love God with their whole heart and poured their love out to the people. I thank God that Karen and her family touched my life. Hey, Karen say hello to my Dad. I am looking forward to our talks when I get to heaven. Know that we will continue to pray for your children and that God will protect them and watch over them. You gave them a legacy of your love and taught them the most important thing- who God is and that Jesus is in their hearts!

  2. Karen, By chance I met Karen at my church in Mesa. She became my “Angel Friend” She will be missed much…. Alice Cooke

  3. Karen is one of the most special people I have ever had the privilage to know. I feel blessed to have been her friend. She is a great mother and inspires me to do the very best I can with my daughter. Karen will always have a place in my heart. I miss you.

  4. I will always remember Karen for her beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by many friends and family.

  5. I will always remember Karen as a beautiful young woman who loved her children. A college graduate, a model, a young woman with dreams. Karen always kept her faith in Jesus. She had such a beautiful spirit. My sincere sympathy to Alexa & Raymond for the loss of your mom and Evelia for the loss of your daughter. Our prayers are with all of you. Robbin Herren & Family(Sandy,Sarrah & Richard)

  6. I remember the short little dresses Karen wore when she was in High School with my grandaughter Stacey, and how cute she looked. She became such a sweet young lady and precious young mother. Karen is a beautiful angel in heaven, waiting for us to see her again. Alma Gwinn.

  7. Karen was a sweetheart. She was a good friend of mine and a best friend of my big sister “Patricia Cowley”. The last time I had shared a moment with Karen was at my neices birthday party which was held at “The Spot” (Pizza Place) in Lake Havasu, Az. I have a picture of her holding my daughter “kamara” with my Sister “Patricia”. That was almost 6 months ago. Karen will be missed as a good friend, great best friend, the best mother and the best daughter, anyone could ever have in a life time….

  8. Karen was my best friend. I am blessed and my life is better just by knowing her. She was my first real friend when I moved to Havasu back in 93′. She went to church so we could be friends, that was Grandmother’s rule. We grew up together and have been through a lot. Karen has always been a strong woman. Knowing what she wanted, going for it and getting it everytime. Anyone who truly knew Karen knew that when she put her mind to something she made it happen. She was a driven woman with a very persistant personality. Motherhood became her, she did very well for herself as a single mother. She lived for Alexa and Raymond and worked hard to give them the best. For them I’m sad the most, we’ll always be there for them. Karen loved church and during her long battle with cancer she showed me what faith in God and grace really were. We’ve had a lot of fun together and as I’m sitting here writing this I have a smile on my face thinking about her. Even though we weren’t always Angels here on earth, I know you are one now. I love and miss you. My prayers are with you; Evalia, Alexa, Raymond and the family. Stacey (Jeff & Kyle)

  9. I knew Karen through my big sister Stacey they were both very close. Karen is a strong women that had a heart of gold. She was beautiful ,and now the only thing that I can dwell upon is the fact that she is now in heaven and is a beautiful angel watching over us. She is dearly missed by all of her friends and family. I now that I personally did not have bonding time with Karen but I didn’t need bonding time because just when I saw her its like the whole room lit up. I heard an expression that a person in thier life will touch at least one persons heart, but with karen it was different becuase she touched the hearts of everyone she knew. Her loved ones and friends are in my prayers.

  10. I Knew Karen, By My Sister in Law Michelle. She Was an Awsome Friend, and I will Always Remenber Her as a Free Spirit and as Great Mom I will Miss Her Dearly. Let God Watch Over Her in Heaven. My Condolance to her family.

  11. Karen was a member at Living Word Family Church for right around 4 years. In the time that she was a part of our lives she was such a blessing to each person she came in contact with. Karen’s life was an example of faith and love. Our prayers are with her mom and Raymond and Alexa. May you each find peace in the fact that she is with Jesus. All of our Love and Respect, Pastors Dan and Maureen and Her church family at Living Word Family Church

  12. Miss Karen was a great teacher at Living Word in the Veggie Village class. She was a great influence, and mentor to each child she taught, inspiring the kids to enjoy a life with God. Each year at Christmas she would put together a small program for the kids to do in front of the church – costumes – singing – and all. The kids will miss her very much. What she taught those children will stay with them forever. She led many kids to the Lord and even taught her own kids how to lead other kids to the Lord, and they did. We love you Miss Karen and Miss You. The Veggie Village Class at Living Word Family Church

  17. Karen was a beautiful, sweet, sister in the Lord, who greatly touched our lives over the past year and a half. I was blessed with the opportunity to go on a trip with her to Houston, Texas last year. It was at that time that a sweet bond of friendship was made. From that time, until she moved to Calif., our family made nightly trips to her home to pray with her. What wonderful memories! After she moved, I had the opportunity to do lunch with her on two different occasions, while traveling in Ca. Her faith in Jesus, to stand in the midst of a battle, is an encouragment to all. Karen, you are greatly loved and will be greatly missed, but we praise God for the victory you now walk in. Alexa and Raymond, we love you very much and always will.
