June Patricia Berssen June Patricia Berssen was born in Glendale, California on March 11, 1923. Her parents were Samuel and Dorothy Terry and she grew up in Hollywood, California. She served as a Wave in the Navy during World War II. Later she became a Vice President of Marketing for Merle Norman. She was a long time graphic artist and painter. June volunteered at the Bob Hope Hollywood USO at LAX. She had lived in Ventura with her husband until his passing, then she moved to Rancho Palos Verdes, California to be closer to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Terry Griggs and her husband Bill Griggs, and her grand son, Austin Griggs, and her daughter, Amy Berssen and her husband, David Wall, and her grandchildren, Sky Wall, and Robin Wall. June was a self-less person who always put others first before herself. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a true friend to many. She loved her daughters and their families very much and would do anything for them. She will be greatly missed. The memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10th, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Rolling Hills Covenant Church, in the North Campus Chapel at 2221 Palos Verdes Drive North, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 with a reception immediately following.
