Juan
Juan Q. Aguon died peacefully at home of natural causes on Tuesday, January 22, 2008. He was born December 12, 1921, in Umatac, Guam, to Joaquin P. Reyes and Joaquina Aguon Sanchez. Juan enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Mess Attendant on the USS Minneapolis in January of 1940 to the year of 1963 when he retired. During that time he served our country in WWII and again in the Korean War. He took pride in his Navy times and retired in 1963 with the rank of First Class Petty Officer. He shared a beautiful marriage with Violet Lilinoe Segovia of Aiea, O’ahu in 1942. In his amazing life he dedicated his time to Long Beach Memorial Hospital where he worked for 10 years, cooking amazing food and most of all to his children. Juan Aguon’s family united by his 9 children, 18 grand children and 19 great grand children would like to thank all of our family and friends their love, help and support The viewing for Juan Q. Aguon will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 4:00p.m. with the funeral services at 6:00p.m.

Juan aka uncle john (papa) grandpa my grandfather was a great man to all of his grandkids he would bail his grandkids out of trouble all the time i swear the kaio kids can do no wrong (yeah right)ecspecially me lincoln jr (son) this man was not only my grandfather he was also my father my mentor and my best friend when i was a kid as you all know he was a great chef i am proud to say that i am follwing his foot steps in the culinary field as well papa all i want to say is thank you for the guidance and love you have givin to me i love you and miss you son
